Art Therapy for Children and Adults

About The Therapist

Originally from Scotland, Karen Rosen has studied, worked and trained internationally.  Her dedication and passion for healing, and facilitating positive change through the arts, originate from the use of creativity to express personal struggles following loss of a parent at a young age, medical challenges and her experiences while teaching art at the multi-cultural, international school, Tabeetha, in Jaffa, Israel.  The magical, healing effects of creativity have been validated for Karen over the years through working in the fields of teaching, mental health, art therapy and her own life experiences.

Karen Rosen has over 15 years experience working in the mental health field with populations that include child and adolescent in-patient and out-patient programs, adult in-patient and out-patient programs, high school student assistance programs and private practice work with children, adolescents, adults, parents, couples and families.  When not practicing art therapy, Karen can be most often be found painting, singing and parenting.
